TUITION FEE

For foreigners - 1.500 euro/semester.

For Polish citizens - 2554 PLN/semester.

PREDISPOSITIONS

Spatial imagination, precision and accuracy of thinking, geometric and mathematical skills, teamwork skills and coping with people management.

A prerequisite for undertaking second-cycle studies is an engineering diploma.

CAREER

Graduates of the programme are prepared to work in construction companies, design studios, building materials industry, state and local government units related to construction and architecture, construction supervision, plants producing concrete and prefabricated building elements.

They also can acquire building qualifications to design and control construction works – in line with the provisions of the Construction Law and the Regulation of the Ministry on performing independent technical functions in the construction industry – after implementing vocational internship and passing an exam at the Regional Selection Committee of the Regional Construction Engineers Chamber on the knowledge of the legal regimes connected with the construction proceedings and abilities of technical knowledge practical application.

SECOND-CYCLE STUDIES

The studies last 3 semesters, both full-time (S) and extramural (NS) and end with the defence of the thesis.

Graduates obtain the professional title of Master of Science in Engineering. The basic content of education includes, among others mathematics, and in general a modern foreign language (B2 + level). The group of directional content includes, among others: theory of elasticity and plasticity, dynamics of structures, complex concrete and metal structures, special foundations, computer methods and programming, management of construction projects, modern composite materials for construction, selected issues of road and bridge engineering. The didactic offer also includes a wide range of elective and specialized subjects.
